The film was directed by special effects wizard Stan Winston and co-written by horror icon Stephen King. The film tells the story of a scary Maestro with supernatural powers, who is being forced out of a small town by its mayor. The movie includes a series of dance routines performed by Michael Jackson and his "family" of ghouls. Every song from the film was taken from Michael Jackson's HIStory and Blood on the Dance Floor albums. The film is also notable for an early film appearance of rapper Mos Def. I've been wanting this for so long and finally found it on Onlineconsumerstore. I tried getting it from itunes but it's the edit version music video not the full short film. So I was happy to find it here. The only thing is that the dvd plays on ALMOST all DVD Players, not on ALL... So I had to see it on my computer (wich for sure it will play.) At home we have several DVD players and it in some I was able to see it. Needless to say MJ did a great job with this short film... |

I'm a huge Michael Jackson fan and I recorded Ghost on video when I was a teenager. I was excited to be able to purchase the mini-movie on VCD whereas I could have a more time withstanding copy than VHS. However, I haven't been able to get it to play an anything in my house; not the computer, the DVD, or the CD players. It is a great piece of work from Michael, as mostly everything that he did, but I'd love if someone could let me know what I'm doing wrong with not being able to see it. |

I've looked for years to find a copy of this rare look into Micheal Jackson's art of the dance and production of a short film. It was shown on VH1 in 97' for one holloween, never to be seen again. It can complete a lifetime of collecting the music and videos of the master of the dance and disgusie. A must have for MJ lovers worldwide. That's if you can find it after folks read this...from the music files of Diva' 2010/Luv to all. |
